Postpartum is a period of time after having a baby, but it's something we're just really starting to understand, and really talk about. We're learning that it's complicated, and not something you “figure out”, but rather it’s an experience you live through. It can last a season, a year, or much longer.

Motherhood can feel like a blur. We rush from one task to the next, whirling through the day, multi-tasking, never pausing to reflect or take stock. Years can go by like this and all of a sudden we wake up and we wonder where the time's gone, how did we get here, who are we?
To be a conscious human is to have a greater awareness of ourselves and the world around us. To surrender, to understand, to be present, to listen.

In this context, to be a conscious mama is to listen to ourselves, to take the time to understand how we're feeling, what we need, in order to be the best versions of ourselves that we can be.
COACHING VS. THERAPY:
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?
In the simplest terms, therapy digs into your past to find out why you are the way you are; you spend time going down the rabbit holes of the “why” and try to unpack things at the root. Coaching focuses on the future and where you’re headed, coaches rarely dig into the past, we focus on the now and how to get you to the next step. In ways of working, a therapist is typically more of a sounding board, where a coach is more hands on, figuring out the problem with you, and offering solutions.

LOW SELF ESTEEM
We will get to the root of the issue and rebuild through coaching exercises, reading assignments, journaling exercises and other tools to shift your perspective.

CONSTANT OVERWHELM
We will map out a schedule and create an action plan on how to relieve your anxiety and stress over the day to day to-do list. We will identify where the overwhelm is coming from and the story you’re telling yourself that’s creating the situation.

RESENTMENT
We will pin-point the reasons behind the issues and create new understandings around them, while developing new ways to navigate change and expectation.
